MAP Whak issues

Also, if the VAFC conncetion was loose, would'nt the VAFC display it self report some sort of error?? Just a thought.

I'd say it's a pretty safe bet it's the MAP sensor it self. According to xviper, this part is really sensitve and I did give a good couple of whacks!!

I also took off my map sensor and gave it a whack..... the car ran funny and i wondered why.....I found the little rubber o-ring on the floor and not on my map sensor.....it was cleaned, reinstalled and everything is fine now.....

i removed mine and blow into it and blow into the hole where the sensor goes to
this wouldnt damage it would it?

This is kinda hard to say for sure. Did the car run OK afterwards? Depends how hard you blew and at what ange or if you did it with an compressed air, etc. Personally, I'd leave the thing on the car and tap it there.

All is well again, I got the car back from Honda and just like we thought..... Bad MAP sensor. I think they also replaced the throttle sensor as well. Thanks alot to all who helped me out on this, S2Ki members Rock!!
