Default MAP-zip by itself?

Eyes bleary from Search, did not find definite word either way. Is the special zip-tie for the MAP sensor available by itself and, if so, anyone know the part #?

Low-mileage late MY car, not sure if I even have this problem, so I really did not plan on replacing the sensor -- but a clean-up, WHACK and the special zip-tie; yeah, I could do that.

Local Honda dealer part-guy had no idea what I was talking about; but then, just walked in and asked for "the special zip-tie for the MAP sensor". Serves me right.

I believe its Honda zip tie #13 (possibly 14) if memory serves me right.

Clean it with mass airflow cleaner, the whack is unnecessary if u clean it.

Actually here you go:

https://www.s2ki.com/stor/library/TSB/a04-073.pdf

That's the TSB for it since the service person will look at you like you have down syndrome

My old map sensor was a problem for me years ago at times. After the new part came out I decided I can do the same without buying it so I cleaned the contacts well and used a regular old zip tie to secure the connection tightly. No problems in many years since.

you can find any black zip tie at your local parts store that would work, zip tie it and trim the excess once tight. A thinner zip tie works a bit better than wider ones, but both would work. You don't have to over-do it on tightening, just snug is fine.
