Hi fellow Ess owners,
These may be stupid questions but recently I have been privy to a severe lack of competence, recently encountered with Honda Senior Mechanics and Honda Transmission Specialists at a Toronto dealership.
Have any of you taken your s2000 car to a Acura senior mechanic ? why you ask ? they work on NSX's afterall ?
Is there different training for Acura mechanics to Honda Mechanics ?
Overall, in your view do you think an Acura senior mechanic would be able to diagnose the f20c effectively ?
Do you think an Acura Tranny Specialist as opposed to an Honda Tranny specialist would be able to diagnose the f20c's tranny ?

Honda techs will get training on honda cars, and acura techs will get trained on their cars. Bulletins, Ser. News, and other types of info for the S2000 will not be as easily ready for an acura tech. So, it's probably better to go to a COMPETENT Honda tech....
