um... no don't try it with just one non fouler... I did it and it did not relocate the o2 sensor far enough out of the direct path of the exhaust and I threw a CEL right away... changed it back to using both of the non fouler pieces and everything was fine...

thanx again SLO-S2000 great fix it thread...

you could always try it with one...your car may react a little differently...depending on the environment, etc.

I didn't realize you had the spoon...I have a custom so mine doesn't hang down at all I think.

Hey guys, I've got a rather hard question. I'm about to install a Venom computer controlled NOS system on my S2K, it uses readings from the 02 sensor to tell me whether the car is running rich or lean. Which, I'm told is crucial, because running lean means engine damage. Can I run a test pipe with this O2 trick, or do you all think that the sensor being out of the direct air flow will give me a poor reading?

The sensor being relocated out of the direct flow is not going to negatively effect the ability to accurately read the o2 levels it needs to be able to "sniff" the gasses efficiently and it needs to be located on the outside of the direct flow in order to do this... shouldn't be a problem with the venom computer but you should see if DUT is still selling his techedge wideband o2 sensor!

The Venom NOS kits use the primary 02 sensor, not the secondary. The Secondary is located in the convertor, the primary is in the manifold.
