I am running the T1R exhaust and test pipe... loud, yes .... too loud, not for my taste...

you should be fine if you are running the amuse exhaust you will be able to notice only a very small increase in the volume but a nice deeper note that really sounds how the car was meant to sound!

in simple terms, what you are doing is placing the O2 sensor further away (inclosed in a tube) from the cat...right ??

Yep...thats it...its out of the direct flow, and also less exhaust passes by it...so what it sees, seems normal to it as if the cat was there...

Just for the record...I'm at about 2700 miles so far on this mod, and getting ready for an oil change

Since there is no CAT there is less restriction, therefor less back pressure. Isn't back pressure essential on an N/A engine ?? It would definitely increase engine response but what about torque at low revs ?

Am not an expert in tuning etc.. but gaining 12.7Bhp just with header and test pipe is great.
