Default Metallic ticking noise front wheel area

I have an 04 with 110k miles if I've been out driving awhile when I get home I hear a metallic ticking noise kind of like rocks rattling inside a metal pot it sounds like it's coming from my drivers side front wheel It does this once the car is fully stopped I haven't noticed it at any other time. What could this be? I was thinking wheel bearing but I don't want to just start buying parts for no reason

Lift front of car onto jack stands. Spin each wheel. May need to remove brake caliper to get wheel to spin free. Listen and feel for worn bearings.

Good luck!

how could it be wheel bearings if the noise is happening when the car is completely stopped?

does the noise stop when you shut off the engine?

can you take a video?

What? I didn't read this, the first time around.

It's not the wheel bearings.
