Default Morning engine light

this morning i woke up and turn on the car. The Check Engine light came on. so i quickly turned the engine off and pop the hood to see whats goin on. Found 2 smalls hoes that was disconnected from the breather line. Must have gotten disconnected from doin a intake cleaning and changing the air filter. so i reset the ECU and turn on the engine again and the Light went off. But last night i drove it after i did the cleaning and no lights but this morning lights.

Go to your local auto store and scan for the code

OK, there's a OBD plug under passenger side dash, short pins 4 and 9 with a paperclip, and turn on ignition. Your CEL will give you a 2 digit code for reference, by flashing. they are general codes that are not as specific as the standard OBDII codes.

sorry i miss word. I ment the CEL went away after I reconnected the two small hoes and reset the ECU.

Does the ECU needs to be reset for the CEL to go away?

You should still take it to auto zone and have the OBDII scanner hooked up to see if it stored a code.
