When I was under my car last summer, the passenger side mounts looked worn. The driver's side looked fine. I guess that's due to the torque of the engine. I was at 63K miles.
The telltale sign is the orange fluid that leaks out of the mounts when damaged. I wouldn't expect yours to be in bad shape Jack given the age of your vehicle and normal street driven use. They may look worse than they actually are.

They just looked scrunched on one side, more than the other.

The passenger side goes out first coz of the constant heat from the header.

Are you sure it isn't from the torque moment of the engine?

Im sure its a combination of things but I'm sure more then 70-80% of the wear and tear is the Torque movemennt of the engine. Kinda like how on Older FWD cars like integras the rear mount and front would always be the first to go, but for the S2K probably more on the Passanger side.

If you just want peace of mind you could always change them and be done with it for however long the Honda "maint" book requires. I changed quite a few things on the S2K when I first bought it for just peace of mind even if I probably didn't have to.

Good luck.
