JL-does ure wheels rub the fenders by any bit? running on 215s?
Here's my setup:
1775 +40 with 215/45
1790 +54 with 245/40

There is no rubbing at all, and the setup works great.

And my car is not slammed.

S2X-also if anyone know if Work Emotions would clear running on a 40-42 Offset with what size tires will i be fine? i think S2X has em on his car....wondering if u have any fender rubbin issues?
i have the Work Emotion forged 17x7.5 +43, no spacers over the brembo Gran turismo. tires size is 215/45/17. 99% no rubbing at all. my ride is pretty slam with small one finger or 1/2 finger gap all around.

rubbing will start if you go 225 tires size.

brembo calipers are almost identical in size with the spoon calipers. brembo comes with 13 inch rotors which requires to run a minimum size of 17 inch wheel. spoon are sold by calipers alone which can work with OEM rotors and can run spoon SW388 16x7 +35, no spacers i believe.

JL,
from the pic, it looks pretty low

1775 +40 with 3mm spacers is like 1775 +43 with no spacers.

Not to be a dick but I have been through about 10 sets of wheels and 3 brake kits over 3 years and I kinda ( I know I am not the expert) think I know what I am talking about.. Its not a guess, its fact. AJ Pwr, turbo_pwr, and S2X all know what they are talking about. We have gone back and forth about wheels and brake kits and I have bought brake kits from them. I dont know about some of the other posts but PM me if you want the whole scoup. Actually the WEDS were my recommendation to a owner on the board to clear his spoons. He wanted that style of wheel. Simple, they cleared. My Black Racing wheels are the same weight if not lighter with better spoke curvature and offset. Mine is a +45 front and it clears the spoon calipers with no spacer and about a pinkie of room to spare. Endless and some of the bigger brake kits still require spacers. The kits are just to damn big... I went with the +40 SSRs to clear the Spoons with no spacer. You want to stay forged if at all possible. I of course could not until the new wheels come out but needed something in the mean time. So cast was the only way to go. Sorry if this sounds confusing. Simple, if you have a +52 front and run a 10mm spacer your basically putting it back out to a +42 offset. Then you have to take into consideration the correct tire sizes for the wheel and what width are you going with? 7.5 or 8.0 or 8.5 or whatever? I dont know what your looking for.

if i had a bigger diamater rotor (i.e. non-stock), i could easily lose the extra 3mm spacer due to the design of the spokes curving outwards as you approach the lip - hell, i could probably go to a 10mm spacer.
What does the size of the rotors have anything to do with the size of spacers required? Please educate me.

to run MF10's with Spoon calipers, you will need 15mm spacers with extended studs.

He was only half right, different wheels have different spoke designs, some might curve inward instead, such as MF10's.
