Multimeter Recommendation/Question
Hi all,
I've been browsing the tool sales this weekend to stock up on some "essentials" and came across a cheap multimeter from Sears. Can anyone tell me if this multimeter would be good to have around for any type of electric diagnostics I might have to do on the S2000? I don't want to buy anything that wouldn't be useful, or could possibly damage the car.

Feedback is much appreciated, thanks!

I'm not a fan of the Sears meter, but it will get you down the road. I'd recommend saving up for an entry level Fluke, or even a cheaper Extech if you can swing it. They have a few better features, and the response rate and scaling will be nicer.
If you just want to take basic readings though it really doesn't matter what you get.You can't hurt the car with any meter if you use it right.

watch the harborfreight ads sometimes you can find them free with coupon. Today it's only $5. Working on a car 12vdc system you do not need anything fancy.
