Hatched, not scratched!

Notice the lines are at 60 degrees and criss-crossing. That's what honing is. It helps the rings seat properly.

pictures are looking good...is pricing going to be the same/similar?

Would you guys do 2.2L work as well...like a F22 crank in a F20 with engine rebuild seems like it would be safer to rev the 2.2 with much shorter stroke to 9k then the 2.5 but, then again...if you guys do it safely and keep it going for 1 yr. Its not bad.

Do you know if they left the cylinder sleeves above the block deck surface? If so, how much?

Mine were left 0.002" above the deck. After only a few runs they were flush to 0.002" below the deck surface. It's causing a lot of head sealing problems for me. I had to have the deck of the block resurfaced to get the sleeves back above the deck surface.

Also, what will you run for a head gasket? Will you O-Ring the block?

I think that you will end up with ~0.212" between bores, which is not ideal for gasket sealing.

Will you guys address my original question about the piston dome CC's or do my questions not count?? Also will you disclose what is different from this build up compared to the other ones that failed previous to this build up of the 2.5L?

Very true, I had the first one they built and it has had 4+ head gaskets on it and it still can't keep one sealed. They tried three times and failed each time. When you say "they" i assume you mean our builder. First off, it was a problem with headgasket manufactuer, not "us". They already addressed that problem. It wasn't just a problem on your headgasket, they have sold many headgaskets to other s2k owners, and its the same problem.

Nothing is different from this motor than any other 2.5L kits, its the same setup, but i personally chose a few different parts.

Matt,

Please stop bringing your personal problems into my thread, this isn't that type of thread. I created this for others to enjoy. All the other stroker kits you mention that had "problems' are still running, so i'm not sure what you are talking about.
