Default was that my car making that noise??

installed my AEM CAI today. Was pretty darned easily. However a freak wind picked up my bumper (which I had removed) and launched it off my property onto the neighbor's driveway. needless to say I have some scratches. What a freak wind too. I had it lying on a cloth face down...I can't for the life of me figure out what the wind had to do to take it like that. But alas, not much I can do about it at this point.

Regardless...I finish up..start up the car and rev it a bit in neutral. Noticeably louder...but it didnt seem too bad. Then I got in the car and drove out of my driveway. Driving pretty casually through town the car actually sounded quieter! I was in awe. And it seemed to idle a whole lot smoother than before as well.

After getting out of town and getting on the open road..I decide to see how it feels. I floor it....Suddenly this incredible sound bursts in the air...I couldn't believe that I was driving the same car as before. It was unbelievable. And I think I can feel gains in certain areas. Like right as VTEC engages and also real low in the rpm's.

Great intake...I'm very impressed. Nice sound and I think decent gains...won't know till I hit the dyno. But from what others here have posted and what AEM says, I don't anticipate being dissapointed.

I just have to make sure I behave when I'm anywhere within 5 miles of a cop

Making a 'before and after' video showing under the hood and the sound difference. I'll post sometime next week.
