In my quest to stop breathing fumes while setting up the start/idle etc. of the EMS, I took a trip to the Home Despot and picked up about $30 in parts to vent the garage
It uses 2 butted 4" flanges that fit nicely in the 4" spugen exhaust tips (I used 4 1/2" hose clamps to seal the holes in the back part of the tip - I assume they are used to fit a silencer..)
Off of the flanges, flexible aluminum dryer vent connected to a heavy-duty plastic "Y" connector (with prodigious amounts of duct tape) and finally connected 2 8' sections drainage pipes that you can see in the second photo.
Took about 1/2 hour to put together.
The "Y" connector is easily strong enough to support my garage door, and I can always build a baffle for it if later on if I want to "fully" seal the garage . . .

True; when the temp is above ~45F, the car does start with the maps I have.
At colder temps, I have to do the ghetto trick; use OEM ECU, run for 20 seconds, pop the AEM back in and start her up.
Haven't had much time to play - next weekend I hope.
I saw a link on the AEM forums about injector timing - I may have gas pooling on the valves. I certainly have ENOUGH gas going in. Plugs look OK too (not wet or carbon fouled).
It's not going to be a mechanical problem if it works fine with the stock ECU... If the plugs look fine and you can't get it started, then obviously you don't have enough fuel. A wideband O2 sensor will solve the mistery. I do not recommend even driving the car with out a wideband. (Untuned)
