Default My first leak

I noticed a hose covered in oil and traced it back to my TCT. It was changed a few years back. But with oem. Hopefully its the only issue

PM @Billman250 and get his better TCT.

The S2000 uses a specific oil filter not used by other Hondas. Other than being blue your oil filter does not look like the right one. Get the right oil filter too. The filter requires a specific torque and is impossible to tighten by hand so you need a filter wrench as well. Lots of guidance here.

I had a very similar leak. The TCT has an inspection cover (that top plate that says NTN on it). There is a gasket under that which I needed to replace. Didn't have to touch/replace the TCT itself. Your experience may differ but just wanted to point that out as that cover gasket seems to be a point of failure.

Also in the meantime it is worth keeping that rubber hose clean and free of any oil as it can deteriorate the rubber. Be sure to clean it up well.

TCT will fail. Replace it with Billman's unit as preventive maintenance before it does.

Default LHT Savior

Thanks for all the info. I will purchase a new filter wrench, filters, and battery tie down from LHT. My battery tie down is too crusty for me.
