Hey guys, first time post on s2ki so I figured I would at least share some advice or at the very least my experience with curing hard/rough transmission shifting. Since I purchased my 2003 s2000, there has also been a lack of smooth shifting, no gear grinds but rough and hard shifts from time to time. After many hours on this forum board and others I think I have found the best combination to repair these issues at least in my case. First I changed my transmission fluid from Honda MTF 2 to Ac-Delco synchromesh with friction modifier. second I removed the shifter and lubed in the transmission cup and all through the joints of the shifter with a lubricant known as sil-glyde. Below I'll add some links of the lubricants and procedure's I used/followed. my s2000 now shifts better than ever and is truly more fun then ever to drive.
