Default NA Crankcase Pressure

Do these cars make positive crankcase pressure normally? I've always heard that if you pull the oil cap you should always have very little air out the cap, or even better, you should have suction inwards.

I pulled my oil cap while it was running, and there is so much air coming out it could blow up a latex glove if I put one over it.

Compression reads 210 all the way around, so I dont think its piston rings -- and I've heard a few people say all 4 cylinder cars do that, just never heard of it being normal for any car.

Replaced PCV valve, but nothing changed.

Car has 63,000mi.

No mods other than a UKMod Exhaust, and K&N FIPK. Not boosted or anything.

Oil cap or dipstick? Dose it spare oil everywhere if not I'll do this tomorrow and report back. I know my dipstick used to always pop out until I just replaced the whole thing which came with new seals 8$

Does not push out dipstick, or sling oil -- just has positive pressure...

Yes it's normal for this car. Crank case pressure is caused by a small amount of blow by, in addition to the movement of the pistons. The pistons don't only work on the combustion chamber but also in the crank case. The main difference is the volume of the combustion chamber is much smaller than the volume of the crank case. Not to mention you shouldn't be having combustion the in the crank case either

I drove with the oil cap off when I accidentally forgot to replace it after topping off, made a nice little mess. Lost about half a quart of oil driving 30 miles on the highway and some city traffic. I realized something was wrong when I turned the A/C on.
