Need Advice ASAP
I posted before about having weird alignment issues.
I had a good shop look at the car.
They solved all issues with the rear camber and now I just have one issue.
The front Right wheel has a negitive caster.
I hit my car into a curb, rear slid out and came around making me hit the rear drivers side and then the drivers side front.
This damaged the Rear drivers side control arm and trailing arm.
How could this bend, or mess up the front right caster?
Could the lower control arm be bent on the right?
Could the frame have shifted? There is no sign of any damage on the car.
It drives straight but has alot of track steer.... I need to have this fixed asap.
I wanted to tell my friend what to replace but he does not want to replace something if he is not sure why it is out of spec.
How sturdy is the s 2000 frame. I have read crazy reviews about drifting cars saying they are tooo stiff...
So if I hit a curb by sliding out under 25mph, then hit the rear drivers side, how could this bend suspension parts in the front right? Does anyone have any ideas why the front right caster would be 5? Factory spec would put it at 6.2 or so.
Help is really needed for I am without a car now for about a month.
Thanks in advance, if I am not on my aim name is the same as my member name.
Thanks

90% chance the right lower control arm is bent. The distance from the ball joint to the rear pivot point is shorter, rendering the caster maxed at 5. I've seen this more times than I can count from a light curb hit.

Bill appriciate all the support with getting this thing fixed. I am just unsure if the wheel planted how it could bend the arm...I hit the drivers side front not the passengers..
I thought it was weird that the other side of the car was messed up.

Bill,
Should I reference the points to the sub frame or points on the backend of the arm to points on the front?
Have you ever seen a car with a pushed back tire with the max caster at 5 degrees? I cant figure out what would have caused that, for the passenger side was not hit in the accident.
Would the sub frame shift from hitting the drivers side and throw off the passengers side at going less then 20 mph then spinning out hitting a curb?
Should I call body shops who might have experience in s 2000s and see what they say?
Im already in this for a grand and its not fixed. I really want it fixed right.
Thanks again.
