jcarlton,

I went with the Casper's unit long ago. After you got the Lake Performance unit working, I bought one, but I haven't installed it yet. I just closed on a new home, so I haven't had time to do it.

I'm glad yours is still working.

ok guys I am so curious.. I have had the test pipe sitting in my room for months. I hope you guys can help me answer this.
1: where's the backup fuse?
2:which product has the most reliability issues?

also. I know that workin at arco smog pros. (I have asked other coworkers) when the CEL light is on. the car still runs at its natural honda state.

I am highly considering the fuse pullout. but I don't know which fuse it is? and plus I hate it when I turn on the defroster and the AC stays on. is that what you guys were talking about earlier in the thread? please help me out guys.

thanks a lot.... joey

The a/c will still come on with the defroster after the fuse has been pulled. There is a trick to fix this but with the fuse pulled ya have to do this trick every time ya start up. Arrrghhhh

Second from top on right side. Check your Helm's manual. If you don't own a Helm's manual yet, just buy one. No reliability issues from the simulator -- all it does is fool the ECU into not tricking a CEL. Better to buy a simulator that than reset the ECU, IMO.

I had the first version of the Casper Performance and it didn't work. They were great guys and took it back and refunded my money.

I have been running the Lake Performance Sim for over 1000 miles and 90 something cycles and no CEL. I couldn't go 10 miles with the Casper sim before my light would come on and that was after the clearing the code with a OBDII tool.
