Default NEED HELP engine sound

So long story short, my ap1 motor bottom end went out. The head was still good. I found a used block from lasky racing. I had the head resurface and new guides installed. the old guides were getting pretty bad. Everything done professionally through a machine shop. I put new gasket and everything that comes in the gasket kit from honda, new auto tensioner, and replaced the rocker assembly with better condtion ones. The bottom was inspected from the outside and cranking the pistons up and down. Mike from laskey racing help with the inspection of the block. unfortunately, we didn't open the bottom block but he re-assures me that its good and its ready to rock n roll. After having delay issues with my original mechanic, I paid lasky racing to assemble the head and the block together. Everything was good as we worked on putting the motor in the car. When we finally started it up. I was greet with this....

have you checked the electrical? such as ignition pull the plugs see how they look, do a compression check get an OBD2 scanner. eliminate things one buy one and you will find the problem. make sure the injectors are clean/ignition is working exc.

i am assuming since the motor was built by people who know how/what to do that the mechanical aspect is fine, i think it might be something simple so check the simple stuff. If i was you i would buy new plugs, put them in, run the motor for a few minuts then let the engine cool down and pull the plugs and see if any are fouled. plugs can tell you a lot !!

i would first pull the plugs out and see how they look. then post the results.

as far as an oil pressure guage, that prolly wont tell you much since the motor dosent idle smoothly, but you can still try it. I would pull the plugs see how they look put them back in and then pull the injectors connector one by one and listen to the motor. and do the same for the coil packs, do this systematically and slowly, right down what you find if you have too. Also do a compression test just for good measure

I notice that engine stay on much longer during cold start then later. The motor would not die for a good min or two or three when I started up this morning to pull the coil out and see. as time goes by the motor would die out faster regardless of me pulling the coils or not. I will take out the sparks plugs take some pictures right now
