I just re-read my post and think maybe it was a little vague. I didn't mean just pull it out. If you have enough grip with the pliers, you can just turn it. And if you use a thin cloth or something between the pliers and the screw, you won't even scratch the screw (not that anyone will ever see it).

I take it your dad is a handyman?

thnx for the help guys, for a guy that set up a custom turbo rig, changing out some bulbs isn't a big deal, just didn't want to muff things up in the process. As for 25k volts, I'll probably try that, might feel good. I'll remember to change out the bulbs with the engine on and the lights turned on.

Are they even legal? Wouldn't it be better to retrofit the high beams?
