NEED HELP IDENTIFYING
oh shit, im about 99% sure i put the arrows wrong, if i did gear one in the pic should be the gear below it and gear 2 should be also...if thats the case it would be 2nd gear and ___????
Underneath your "gear 2" arrow, there is a small gear that is part of the main shaft. That is "mainshaft second gear". It is usually always the first to break. You will need a new mainshaft to replace that gear.
The gear below your "gear 1" arrow is "countershaft second gear".
you will need a 2nd gear set to fix that gear. It slides onto the countershaft.
As long as no pieces of metal got caught in your coundershaft (the shaft with 4 permanant gears) it will be fine. When 2nd gear goes, the countershaft is usually ok.

I started making it after the sec reduction bearing post.
It took some time to get the dimensions & ratio's right though.
I wish I could do diagrams like spitfire....
