Default need help quick

well i was on the way home from work maybe doing 65 cuz of traffic then i get off the freesway and as i come to a stop the car dies. at first i thought i didnt put in the clutch soon enough but when i started it the car sounded like a diesle, like metal tapping metal. so i reved it a little and the rattle went faster till about 4000 then it would go away so im like k ill just pull over into the gas station or somthing but when i started driving it went away completely then i came to a stop and it started doing it again.

so i decided to just drive up the street to my house and it ran fine the whole way didnt tap at all.

also when it was making that sound i could feel the tapping in the clutch petal

any ideas what this could be. when i got home i jacked it up. no leaking oil nothing looked loose like for somthing to be tapping or anything.

im not going to drive it ill take it to the shop but i just wanted to know if anyone had anything similar

You are at higher risk of the chain jumping a tooth on the cam. If you have alternative transportation use it until you get it fixed. Otherwise, don't push the car too much, limit driving, and get it repaired as soon as you get parts.

Hardtop Guy has the part you need.
