You have an install issue. the ecu is not seeing all it parameters.

Number one, get the CEL (key on, engine off) working first.
Ok,
That is one of my mayor concerns, with key on, the CEL doesn't come ON. Neither the Green light of the Key.

Which troubleshoot do you recommend?

By the way, maybe it is another stupid question. In all the 2006 AP2, it is suposed the ECM has no plug connector in the middle port??

Another Day at the Honda Dealer and Nothing!!!

That's incredible!

Now they said that they need to replace the inmobilizer unit first, in order to get a better diagnostic.
Aparently it doesn't allow the flow of current to the coil packs.

What do you think guys?

Does any inmobilizer unit can be programmed or combined with any ECM??

I think you should remove the car from the dealer, or you will be sorry, and broke.

It's not incredible, it's TYPICAL!

THEY ARE GOING TO drain your wallet.

Listen to me...get the CEL (check engine light) working first!

It's either a CEL bulb, or wiring issue to the ECU, ecu power relay, etc.

ANY "mechanic" who wants to replace an immobi unit when there is no CEL is STUPID!

The reason you have no coilpack power lies directly in the ECU issue/state. The ECU commands the coil packs. They are dead because the ECU is in a COMA!

ALL POSSIBLE issues in ANY car with a CEL revert back to the CEL.

Key on, CEL on. This is the pulse, the heartbeat of the system. Without it, you're dead.

If someone has no pulse or heart beat, you dont check them for measles! That is what the dealer is doing to your car and they are a DISGRACE!

Am I the only friggin person in the world that understands an automobile? OBD2 has been out since 1996! I dont or wouldnt expect anyone on her to know about a car or their workings, which is why you are here.

But a HONDA DEALER? REALLY?

Honda you build a nice product but your dealers are 100% incompetent and should be sued for taking people's hard earned money.

ditto^

just a thought, he said the car had no cluster when purchased. Is there an off chance that he ended up with an AP1 cluster by accident and that no CEL is displaying because the plug is incorrect?
