Thumbs up Need Recommendations: Aftermarket Radiator

OEM plastic radiator is leaking like crazy and i wanted to see if anyone has purchased any aftermarket aluminum radiators for a decently cheap price and how that has performed. I have been looking at the Ebay OBX/Mishimoto/Blacksomething ones. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Those are going from$185-$240. I also found an oem one for $117 but if the last one lasted me only 50k miles isnt worth the buy.

i have no personal experience with aftermarket radiators but after being on this site almost every day for the last couple years I have noticed that the most popular seems to be mishimoto.

I just installed the Mishimoto rad, I wanted to get the Koyo rad but they were out of stock and Mishimoto was in-stock so I got it. I'm really happy with the product, this thing makes the oem rad look like a toothpick. Great product and great service from Greg at www.Gtmotoring.com, give him a call if you like. Very reasonable price considering the quality of the product.

I like the looks of that. Where did you order it from, and what did it run you?

Can't say my oil temps ever even came close to high enough to warrant an oil cooler in Solo and I am FI, but its nice to have for track days. I have a similar setup but made by C&R in the US.

If you aren't doing track days in the middle of the summer, I would stick with OEM or equivalent. Bigger is not always better because it may take your car longer to get up to the proper temp.

True that but mine is 99% autox track
and only take it on road trips on special occasions.
I always let the car come up to temp before driving it and double clutch until the tyranny is up to temp and the rear diff is up to temp.

I have seen my oil temps hit 248F on two different occasions last year when Autoxing
Air temps were in the 105 and the track was near 120 and with 3 drivers the car never shut off except for lunch or had time to chill in the pits.

I personally Don’t want my oil temps going above 210/ 220 max

My preferred spot is oil at 210 and water at or below 205 with the goal to keep oil and water temps withign 10F of each other.

and I also am FI roots supercharger
