Need spark plug socket...what size?

I use electrical tape to hold the socket to the extension. No issues yet with that method - I've never seen an 8" spark plug socket.

You said you wanted to buy a "good" spark plug socket? Then what the heck are you looking at harbor freight tools for? ha ha.

I want the part that touches the plug to be well made. I'd buy a specialized disposable extension from HF if it got the job done.

How funny that's what I did but somehow the extended socket still seems to get stuck...maybe an extended socket being magnetic with the combination of having a rubber donut might work better

Did you push the plug all the way into the socket? Only push it in far enough to cover the hex for a good seat when tightening.

heh heh. What I meant was that while Harbor Freight Tools has great prices, most of their stuff is junk. I definatley wouldn't use their stuff if there was a risk something could get damaged if their stuff breaks on you.
