Default Needed: TDC Sensor Plug

I'm looking for the wiring harness portion of the TDC sensor plug on top of the engine of my AP1 (2003). Has anyone been able to locate a source for this connector? Or, if someone has a "parts" wiring harness, perhaps you would be willing to part with one of the TDC sensor plugs.

UPDATE:

If you need new TDC wiring harness connectors for at least the AP1, get HX090-2 Female connectors from Cycle Terminal. These were a perfect match in my car.

I had to replace one of mine as well, it seems to be a pretty widely used Honda connector.
The new one I got was from a K-series loom, not sure what sensor it was for.
Otherwise it might be possible to buy a new connector from here http://www.rywire.com

Thanks Flanders. I may hit a junkyard this weekend in search of a K engine.

Jordan from Deft Motion linked this site a while back. He says you can find most of our connectors here:

That's it! The TDC sensor connector appears to be the "Female HX090-2" on this page http://www.cycleterminal.com/hx-series.html

Would you believe the lock tab broke off the other one when I went to check it? Really, it's not me - just the lightest of touch on the locking tab made it snap off. I suppose the heat from 186,000 miles on the top of the engine has made some of these connectors brittle.

I'm ordering a few of them and will report back with success of failure. The wiring harness on the side TDC sensor looks to be a bit tight. I'll do the swap on the top one first to make sure I can do it.

Thanks Habitforming!!!

Glad that helped you out! Please be sure to report back to let us know for sure it was the correct one.

Those connectors do get brittle over time. I've seen it suggested to run the engine for a few minutes first too warm things up, which makes them more flexible and less likely to break. The colder the weather gets, the more likely they'll break.

That car has traveled as far as the Moon is from Earth, those plugs don't owe you a damn thing.

I never said they did - I was just preemptively defending myself from accusations of not knowing how to remove the connector without breaking it. Meanwhile, the broken connectors are nicely attached with a zip tie.

I received my order from Cycle Terminal, but it looks like they sent me the HX040-2 connectors and not the HX090-2 connectors. I sent a note to the vendor asking for a swap, so we'll have to wait a few more days for verification.

The new connectors showed up, and I can confirm that it is an exact match! If you need new TDC wiring harness connectors for at least the AP1, get HX090-2 Female connectors from Cycle Terminal
