Hey guys ive been searching on the forums forever and i cant find if someone found out how to fix the decel buzz with the ACT clutch i got it about 2 weeks ago i have 600ish miles on it now and the buzz is still there ive read people saying to just live with it but with alot of people here im a little ocd when it comes to my car and driving around with people its annoying when u have to hear it (cant always have the music blasting) i was talking to my buddy and he said that it could just be dust from everything being replaced and not cleaned properly i got a new ACT HD PP and clutch and kept stock flywheel just got it turned. Has anyone had it stop over time or do you have to get it droped and cleaned for it to stop?

it won't stop. sorry. i have the exact set-up. 2 years and it's still buzzing on decel. can't WAIT to have to get a new clutch.

 

An OEM friction disk (or an aftermarket unit with similar revised springs) is what stops the decel buzz.

 

My clutch was buzzing a lot. After I installed my second aftermarket clutch myself I found my pilot bearing was shot. The shop that installed the first one said the sound was normal. After replacing the pilot bearing with the new clutch the buzzing got real quite.

 

i replaced everything in my clutch setup...the buzz is still there 6 months later...it will not go away and i do not want to replace it....just gonna have to wait till this one is burnt out...not getting ACT again or researching first before i get a new clutch :-\
