You have all the parts needed.. I didn't use an alignment tool, but then you need a careful eye to make sure the disc is centralized otherwise you'd be there forever trying to get the tranny back on!!

Make sure you use high temp grease on the inside channel of the release bearing!! DONT forget!!

You just line up the FD, PP, and bearing with any straight tool or just eyeball it. It is just an aid; all parts will be aligned once the transmission is in regardless.

True story, it's definitely easier with an alignment tool, but the transmission isn't really THAT heavy, lol....

when it's on your belly you are trying to get the splines lined up, it gets pretty stinkin heavy!

long socket extensions and a good wobble will make your job 1000% easier! esp. with the upper bellhousing and starter bolts

go and get some new subframe bolts, the service manual recomends that they are replaced once you loosen them. I guess there have been a few cases where reused ones have come loose once retorqued.

yea, we used a 3 foot extension for that one upper bolt, a wrench for the side bolts, and that upper starter bolt.. lol we used a wobber extension, and a socket, and lots of cussing. it wasn't too bad, but christ what a dumbass place for a starter..

you want a throw out bearing, and a throw sleeve as well, and yea new subframe bolts are a smart idea.
