Really dont know what happened.....i paid a lot of money for new engine block assembly new head gasket kit and for labour..........i would understand if i had my old engine rebuilt and machined everything but this was a new engine (except the head). I hope its not conected to something that destroyed my original engine .....mybe overheating?? but it wouldnt fail un just 2000kilometres :/

Dam man, sorry to hear that! I would be really mad in your position. Take off the valve cover see if you see anything, if you bought the block from Honda I doubt it has anything to do with that. If someone did work to the head it could possibly be that, only thing I can think of copper is the bronze valve guides?

Not sure if it's common but factory new late model year engine blocks have on some instances failed very early due to thrust washer that was put in backwards.
There's some more info here https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-un...ilure-1171212/

so my mechanic checked the engine......everything he did was ok, the head is functioning perfectly. The bottom end is the problem (very likely the main bearings), but he cannot drop the oil pan cause of waranty of the block assy. So now the fun begins, he is sending the entire car to Honda dealership to be checket for faulty block assy.

Sounds like you lost oil pressure, can happen a few different ways.

For you to feel a vibration that high My guess is crank, or detonation? unlikely a new engine would be out of balance, but anything is possible.

where did you find a brand new engine?

one more thing,......this is what happened with my last engine... https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-un...ssion-1170015/

is it possible that this new engine failed in the same way as the last??? what could cause that :/ last time my main bearings were shot......but now everything was new...car is not overheating engine is running very smooth the power was there, no misfires, idling super smooth .....

what if there is a hidden fault/problem thats killing my engines :/ (some sensor, ecu problem, but i doubt it can affect the bearings and the cel light would probably come on)

Car is stock? Stock engine mounts? There was a problem with people using the wrong hardware for the engine mounts that would punch through the block.

sounds like something was dropped into the engine on assembly.
