Thanks guys! I have an extended warranty so I will make an appointment ASAP and gett her checked out at another dealership. How do I get them to take it apart b/c all they have said is "well...it's probably normal....we dont see to many S2000..It should be ok."
Good luck, let us know how it goes. Be persistant.

When I took my car in for the "rear end clicking noise" problem I got the old song and dance "its normal. Its the brakes settling" I then found the TSB info on this web site, brought it to them and made them drive the car up against a building so the sound would bounce off so they could hear it better, and they finally gave in and replaced it for free.

I've also used other S2000's on the dealer lot as a comparison to drive the point home on other issues they try to pass off as "normal".

You're ok to drive.

I only said put the car in first to make sure the mainshaft stops spinning. This eliminates that possible variable in the test.

The noise should stop with the clutch in only, not if you put it in first. At least your clutch isn't dragging

Well I got my car checked on monday. The service guy said they put it on the lift and said the noise is coming from the clutch disk. I dont know how they could know this b/c there is a lot of stuff near the disk. The rep then proceded to tell me that honda changed the clutch disk in 02 up and that was probably my problem. I then told him I had the newest disk there was and he then said we would have to take a look at it and it would be around $700 but the noise could be normal. How did I know that was coming. I dont think they were even listening to the noise I was complaining about. I have another guess on what the sound is, I broke a bolt on the heatshield that attaches to the header while changing the clutch. It has been missing since I noticed the sound but I dont know if it was there before the new clutch b/c of the Clutch Buzz. Do you think that this could be my problem? If so wouldn't it make the noise all the time?
Thanks for any help!

Even the 02 and up discs make some noise, there isn't anything you can do to prevent it. It's all due to the powertrain layout and where the clutch is in the car in relation to your ear.
