I have a 55 shot ZEX system and I noticed that the car feels faster when I start from a higher gear. For example with no nitrous at 70mph I would start in 3rd, with the nitrous if I start in 4th and stay in 1 gear for longer instead of shifting the car seems to accelerate a lot faster. I think that since I'm not losing nitrous pressure by shifting the car accelerates a lot faster. Although from a dead start this is obviously not an option. Does anyone agree that this is possible or am I way off?

so will an intake, so will lowering it, so will bald tires, so will horrible driving. it takes some "responsibility" when installing and using nitrous, but if done right it wont ruin anything.

 

that was the point that I was trying to get accross. I did not word it very well. However just about everyone with nitrous that I have talked to have been through more than 1 engine.

 

I dont trust NOS. It looks cool though lol
