Default no #3 injector pulse. HELP

-Im running AEM EMS on my 2002 vortec supercharged s2000. just recently rebuilt it and only started/drove it a few times. It sounded like it had a miss so i hooked up the laptop to see what it was doing (I have no tuning experience, i was just curious).
-I came to find out the the EMS was not registering any injector pulse for #3 injector.
i have switched the injector over to another cylinder but it still reads no good for #3. -Am I simply looking at a faulty wiring issue?? any advice helps

2 wire circuit. one power wire and one ground wire. you should have power on one with the key in the on position. the other wire is where the ecu pulses the ground (transistor). check the ground side with vehicle running.

backtrack from there. hopefully you have or have access to a wiring diagram for the injector circuit.

if you have no power at the injector connector, there is an open somewhere. look from the injector to the fuse box and whatever connector in between.

if no ground, there's an open in the injector ground ckt. ecu transistor is not grounding ckt. or open in the wiring or connector

I'm guessing you're using a 1012.

If so, you need to use injectors 1,2,4,5.

Don't ask me why. Just the way it is.

preferably, you check the injector with a noid light since the injector pulse is very rapid. it's harder to see the pulse with a test light as compared to a noid light.
