Default No battery power

Ok so I did a battery relocation to my trunk with 2awg wire I also did a fuse box and EPS relocation all done a week ago. No problems every thing running great then tonight after driving for a couple of hours I stopped at a local bar had a drink. Went back to my car hit the power door lock button everything is cool get in my car turn it to power everything lights up on my dash I turn it to ignition everything goes BLACK! SO I check my fuse box all the fuses have power check the battery power (1 WEEK OLD ODYSSEY P925MJT) good there too the batter cable has power at the battery side too. When I check the battery cable at the small fuse box infront of the Mastercyclinder there is no power there? My head lights, parking lights, brake lights, horn nothing no power I press the brake no brake lights nothing? Is there like a main power relay or fuse some where? I check the fuses under the dash an none of them had power maybe I could just not find a good ground. My car is stuck behind a car right now so need help asap I used one of the pen things that have a bulb in it with a long ground wire to check my fuses but like I said nothing has power when I turn the key except the fuse box under the hood and the battery.

Maybe a relay? I just dont know anything about relays or which one it could be? Plan and simple tho put the key in turned it once all power turn it forward to start everything goes BLACK

Try touch the battery - is it warm? if it is warm/hot you have a MEAN short circuit somewhere. Im betting you got one anyways, which caused a fuse to blow. check all your wires.. check continuity with a DMM from your power wire to your chassis ground. Also, try check wherever you put it through the body - it might have pinched + ripped the outside insulation

Is the breaker good? Open and close it a couple of times. Power on both sides?

This may sound crazy, but try removing the battery terminals and use a wire brush or sandpaper to clean both the terminals and the cable connectors. If you didn't abrade the terminals and connectors when you installed the battery, there's a possibility that you don't have a good connection. The lead surface may look clean, but lead oxide forms on the surface and it is not a conductor of electricity.

Wait.

Remove the positive and negative terminal from the battery. If you dont do this, there are some circuits that allow volts to pass through - allowing the pen to light up, while not allowing lots of amps - one example is the 'self check' function on the AC.

to check for a short, you need a DMM.

FIRST: disconnect the battery, + and -.

Next: connect the + battery wire to a DMM, and ground the other lead. if THIS has connection, you have a short.

The way you are doing it will not tell you for sure. (Trust me, I tried it.. I dont really understand WHY this happens, it just does).

In other words, since you cant put power through the pen, you cant use the pen to find shorts - you need to source a Digital Multi-Meter.
