No compression ( timing jumped ) need advice on what to do
Ok guys so got the car back from honda and they confirmed my fears, the timing jumped. Well now there's no compression or at least that's what they said. I figured that there would be at least some compression. So what I need to know is if there's any chance at saving the motor. I have Toda cams, pistons, and some kind of upgraded valves ( I bought the car from my old boss who had it set up and built for nitrous ). I was wondering if there's any chance I could just re build the head or something?
Yes it was going bad and doing that noise for a couple weeks. I parked the car at the shop I was working at. I finally wanted to get the car home to fix the things that were wrong with it ( its about a hour drive ) and it stalled out about 5 miles away from my house and never started again
Check and see if the cams got locked up in the journals. I've seen 2 different s2000s break gears from the cams because of a one getting seized up in the journal. Pop off the valve cover, and turn the crank by hand to see if the cams rotate with the gears. I'd be willing to bet that is your problem.

I'll check the cams but I'm almost positive the timing jumped because of the TCT. The car was used for autocross so it was driven pretty hard I'm just wondering if I really have to get a new motor or if I can have the head re built. And if cams seized up are they trashed?
