Default noise from rear wheels?

so i been having this weird noise coming from the rear wheels while driving.. its sounds kinda like" hooww hooww hooww", (thats the best way to explian it) you know like when u passing up cars going really fast, well its that kinda noise and it does it every time the wheels rotates. i hear it all the time, while excelarating, braking, but its most annoying while on the highway.. i was thinking it could be the bearings but it doesnt make the same scratching noise like it does when bearings go out. i know its not the tires cuz its the same on my rims or stock wheels. maybe it the axle, or rear dif, bearings. idk.. has anyone ever had this.. please help me out before i start changing out everything i think it might be..

Wheel bearings.

They sound like that when they come apart. There was a guy local here who through ever part at his car but the bearings fighting the noise.

Do both sides when you do it, cause the other one will go out soon.

+1 on the wheel bearings. It's a horrific sound and it only gets worse if it's not addressed. You might as well change the hub also.

if its doing it all the time (and its the bearing) that is a bad sign.

does it change when you turn the wheel and the load changes?
