Default noob question

My car has been in storage with the battery removed for 3 months. Will the battery be dead? It has been sitting in my warm basement...If yes then should i jump the car to start it for the first time in three months? I think i have a battery tender thing, will this be necessary to use?

If you have a battery tender, hook that up and recharge your battery before you put it back in your car.

You may want to move your battery to a location with better ventilation before you hook up the battery tender, though.

Have it tested at Auto Zone, if it needs a charge they will do it for you (the one in our area does).
