where is the engadment on the clutch pedal? low high?

 

Do you know any history of the vehicle, sounds like a previous owner put in a new pressure plate, clutch disc and possibly flywheel that may have changed the launch characteristics. A stock s2k does not behave like that, lack of low end torque isn't the cause.
