does anyone know where the connector for the OBD scanner is on the 2006 s2k?? (sry my car didn't come with the users manual.)

 

Did you see my link in the other thread? Did you look there? I don't know why they would've moved it from that location.

 

It's on the right footwell side, kind of up under the dash.

 

I just did one this week it was not on the right, it was on the left (drivers side)

It is behind the radio like the 2002-2005, but it is tucked deeper and it's angled (02-05 points directly left)

 

^ Does OBD even work on an '06?

I plugged my cable/computer into an '06 (maybe it was an '07) a few months ago and it couldn't even talk to it. I thought these models were CAN buss?

 

It's still OBDII, just uses a fast CAN buss for the additional data carried to the scan tools.

 

i know what u mean.. i have an 06.. and sometimes the scanner doesnt link.. i had to try like 3 scanners before it worked.. 2 where the same brand and model but only one linked.. and the 3rd one i used was a whole different brand

Yes, 06 does work, I was surprised myself as I heard they're using OBD2a or whatever. AutoZone's orange gizmo hooked up no problem though. I was thinking of picking one up.
