I got a local Honda to do my pre purchase inspection (safety in Canada) and asked for a compression test and diff fluid change. I wonder if they did a compression test at all as they returned results of 180 185 185 185 or something like that, and it took them almost no time to do it all, and they recorded 80w90 in the diff. Now reading about plugs, they said nothing about risking reinstalling plugs on a warm engine. Just like I had to fill my diff with decent fluid, I may as well get new plugs to make sure they're done right.

Hopefully this is lessons learned.

Try and refrain from resurrecting 3 year old threads.

Never trust the dealer with this car.

I think you're right about the compression test. They just made up numbers they thought would sound good, and didn't really test anything. Most cars those numbers would be great. They know so little about these cars they don't even know what good numbers would be.
