Fixed my "rattle". Pesky spare tire nut.

 

Ughhhh this is driving me crazy guys... When I get to about 4200-5000 rpm, under acceleration or deceleration the car makes an odd rattle/chattering sound in the front of the car. At first I thought maybe it could be the cat, but I then I figured I'd get a CEL and loss in power. My car is a MY00 and has about 105k if that matters. Thanks guys.

 

I keep hearing a really loud metal hitting metal noise! I put the car on jacks and searched with my friend .

s2k is a huge rattle

 

I've started noticing a weird "whooshing" intermittent noise coming from the driveshaft area. It's difficult to describe but it sounds as if the driveshaft is touching something while rotating. Kind of like the sound you hear if the front tires were touching the fender liner. It's intermittent and gets faster as you speed up and slower as you slow down, so it's got something to do with a rotating part. I'm just confused as to what it could be because it doesn't seem like there's anything down there that can be making a sound like that. I'd appreciate any help, thanks
