Oil Catch Can Installed-hoses Collapsing
Any of you guys using breathers on the oultlet?
Saves any vapours getting back into the inlet- just stick a gromet onto the intake to block it, Not very environmentally friendly but makes the engine breath cleaner air

Not to sound like a dummy, but what is the function of the catch can? And be nice.

I too found mine had semi-collapsed after a 3575 mile road trip. Replaced the Greddy catch can connections with Napa dual use high temperature oil and fuel resistant 3/8" ID (9.5mm) hose.
BTW I got 25.94 mpg on the trip and yeah, we enjoyed VTECing

the hoses that came with the Cusco/J's catch tank are not really oil-resistant, I have changed mine to the normal black ones and never had a problem again.
The transparent hoses do look great, but performance comes first.

Those transparent plastic braided hoses are "pressure" hoses and don't make good "vacuum" hoses. They are primarily meant to carry fluids under pressure so they don't split and explode. With the kind of vacuum and heat that those hose are subjected to, you really need the thick walled rubbery type.
