That really depends on their labor rates, the type of oil and filter you request, and if the dealer is offering any specials.

You can simply call a couple of Honda dealers and ask them.

Costco sells 6 quarts Mobil1 for $24 and Honda Santa Ana has PCX filter on sale for $4. If you do it yourself, it should cost you less than $30.

i think i'm going to seriously consider getting jack, stands, etc. after my first oil change at the dealer. i'm going to take mine to the dealer the first time so that they can fix some minor things and also take a quick glance and test run because i bought mine used about 3 weeks ago. it had 8100 miles on it when i bought it.

now when i decide to do it myself, do i have to purchase a new washer and bolt for the oil plug?

You do not need new bolt every time you change oil, you can re-use washer by turn it over or buy a new washer, it is not expensive. You can also buy similar washers at hardware stores for a lot less, about $0.99 for a box of ten.

i always change my washer, i buy my filters from the dealer on special, three filter and three bolts are about $15.00. the dealer charges about $30.00 for an oil change service...they wanted to ask me more as it took an extra quart but their coupon said $29.88 so they went with it. i do the changes myself, i wanted the first one to be at the dealer.
