Mercedes doesn't get the tube stuck in the dipstick hole.

Well i did use the smallest supplied tube...maybe I just inserted too much? Either way i'm going back to the way man has done it for years.

I've never had this problem with my Mityvac. Not sure what to suggest other than not using your fluid evacuator. I'm sure I've used more than 2 feet as well.

What was wrong with draining the pan with the drain plug?
Nothing should be wrong with using a fluid evacuator, Fumoto, or whatever one decides to use either.
