Oil Change question
7/8 of a turn past first contact isnt hard to do with your Hands
, if you firmly hand tighten like i said then you will be well past that, unless you have arms like Alias.
while i have perfromed over 10 oil changes on my S withought a problem.

You can do whatever you like with your own car, but if you give advice you should be more careful. At the very least you should be clear to say "Honda says X, but I do Y instead".
thanks everyone for the help. Yeah i just resued the on that was on it before, so next time i will remember to use the new one. One of my buddys said he thought it might go on the filter but i was thinking they gave me the wrong size or something cuz just from looking at it i could tell it was not big enough for that. I appreciate all the help though.

"Firmly hand tighten" can mean anything. 7/8 of a turn is measurable, especially since the Honda filters have little numbers on them specifically for this purpose.
