Default Oil and Comptech Cold Air.

I notice on the Comptech website they make a cold air for 00-01 and 02-05. Is there a difference in the two. I purchased a used one that came off of a 01 where my car is a 03. Will I have fitment issues? I would call Comptech directly but they are closed on Sat.

Also I only put 80 miles a week on my S2 as I drive it only on the weekends. I know the rule of thumb is 3k or 3 months which ever comes first in regards to oil changes.

Should I just change it every 3 months then??

The airbox for 00-01 cars doesn't have a hole cut in it to clear the second horn fitted to 02-07 cars.

You'll need to cut a hole for the horn bracket, if your airbox doesn't have one.
