Default Oil on lower support

I have a 2002 s2k, and i was changing my oil today and i noticed that there seemed to be alot of oil around the lower frame in front of the engine... basically from the passenger side motor mount around to halfway up down the middle of the support. Seems like there is a little spray across my oil filters, i have an oil pressure gauge, and i think it might be part of the issue, but seems like alot of oil...

If it's a copperish colored liquid, it's probably the motor mount that has busted.

Check the T-connector for your sending units - today. Mine was brass and cracked where the threads go into the block. There were only a couple of threads still holding it.

I deleted the T and the sender for the idiot light and just use the sender for the gauge. It seems to be more accurate now as well.

I backed the car out of the garage into bright sunlight and let the motor idle and looked around with a flashlight until I saw where the leak was. It's a real PITA to see in that area - but then again you're a lot younger than me and can probably see better. I'm betting the leak is at the block.

I couldn't tell from the pics but you do have two sending units connected to a brass T correct? And that one end doesn't look right somehow.

Oh - stay away from that rubber hose - it's a coolant line.

Good luck!
