Default Oil Pressure Sender

I searched the forums and came upon a few results for this, but none of the threads were complete. I wanted to know a complete list of parts to do an oil pressure and oil temp setup. I want to avoid the sandwich plate solution.

Here's what I've dug up so far on what I need:

1/8 BSP Male to 3AN Male Adapter (for block)
-3AN Braided line
1/8" NPT Female to -3 AN Male

I assume that I need a T fitting in here, as well as an oil pressure sender (can someone recommend a couple) as well as a compatible gauge.

This would take care of pressure; I hear the temperature should be measured elsewhere. If anyone could kindly point me to threads with some item suggestions and a conclusive list of what I'll need, that would be fantastic. In return, I'll post a full DIY with pics and stuff that should be worthy of being thrown into the FAQ sticky.

Thanks all!

Coolant/oil temperatures are normally measured where they re-enter the engine, after any radiator. Oil pressure can be taken directly off the engine pressure sensor connector on the starboard side of the engine but beware of bad threads in this location.

It would be nice is this data was on the CAN buss but isn't. (Does anyone have a complete list of what data is on the buss?)
