Just a quick one how much is the normal usage of oil for my s2k?

 

have never found this in writing, but many here have said that honda states a quart every 1k miles is okay. not sure if that was towards 'normal' driving or 'spirited' driving. i burned about that much in my old 03, but under 'normal' driving i'd go through maybe 1/8 of a qaurt every 1k miles.

 

I have never used any. I think it varies from car to car and driver to driver. How the car was treated during the break in period may have something to do with it.

 

there's a memo from honda that stated that in black and white.

i burns around half a qt every oil change(3k)

much less if you don't vtec alot, or during cooler season for some reason.

 

I burn barely any. Im FI and vtec a lot. I redlined the car on the test drive and ever since. Im running GTX. I hear synthetic burns a lot more.
