oilpressure low or normal?
If your car is driving strong, enjoy it.
If I'm thinking of this correctly, 3.5 x 1000kPa = 3,500,000Pa = 507.6psi, so it sounds like the units are off by one order of magnitude.
350,000Pa = 50.8psi, and that is about the same as reported from the Defi gauge.
Similarly, 600,000Pa = 87psi.
However, 6.0x 1000kPa = 6,000,000Pa = 870psi, so there is a flaw either in my logic or in the gauge units.

yup its reads 50psi on the defi link. and yes at 6.0 it reads 87 - 90plus psi on the defi link.. maybe its x100 sorry coraldoc!! so is it normal?? im very sorry for bothering you its just that im a newbie and im worried.. thanks thanks so much coraldoc!!!

Hmm...
"k" in the metric system stands for kilo = 1000.
3.5 kPa = 3.5 x 1000 = 3500 Pa.

Hmm...

3.5 kPa = 3.5 x 1000 = 3500 Pa.

The gauge says 1,2,3....etc but its x100kPa so instead of 1,2,3,etc its really 100,200,300,etc kPa.
THEN you convert (for example) 100kPa into Pa and finally psi, understand?
Yeah, I understand it all now, only not the need to convert to psi.
Man.. I really like the metric system.
It's so much easier.
Why haven't "you" kicked out that stupid imperial system when you kicked out the inventors of it?
Btw.. the UK has made the switch a while back.
And if the British, being on their Island and all, think its better you can be sure it is.

That's not strictly true.
We run both in parallel
Metric to meet European legislation
Imperial for all our our old folk
