Does the T1R racing cat or shall I say "resonated pipe" need to be used with an oxygen simulator and does anyone have any idea if it will pass an OBDII emission test or whatever you call it? I am thinking that you could use it on a stock exhaust with the stock resonator removed to get decent sound for cheap. But that is just a guess.

a test pipe and resonated test pipe are basically the same thing... the resonated pipe, has a chamber that cuts down on the "raspy" sound you get from regular test pipes... it completely replaces your cat allowing more flow... i wouldn't recommend going to an emmision test with it, because test pipes are illegal!

well guys sorry to burst your bubble but I had the toda header and did not like it....it really did nothing for the car...i traded it for the mugen header and was happier than a pig in sh*t....the mugen gives you a fat power bubble from 6kto8k...it makes a huge difference....

From your mugen comment, i find it really hard to beleive the one about the Toda as I have had the mugen.

Please divulge what else you are running because there was not any 'fat power bubble' from 6-8 with my mugen header, but i guess thats relative.

ive heard mix reviews about the toda header. the only aspect that didn't sell me is the brackets breaking.
